A teen is in critical condition after being hit by a car while riding his bike in Hicksville.

Police say it happened as the 16-year-old was crossing Old County Road at Newbridge Road after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the teen suffered multiple head injuries and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver who hit him was not hurt and is not facing charges.
