Police: Teen pedestrian hit, seriously injured in Kings Park
Police say the teen was hit while crossing Route 25A. It happened at the corner of Lawrence Avenue around 4 p.m.

A 14-year-old pedestrian has been seriously injured in Kings Park.
Police say a Kings Park woman turned left from Lawrence Road onto Route 25A and hit Jack Nunez as he tried cross the street.
The teen was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition. The injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
No charges have been filed against the driver.
