Police: Suspect wanted for throwing ignited object at car in East Meadow
Police say the suspect approached an empty 2007 Mercedes parked on Nancy Drive at around 5 a.m., threw an ignited object at it and then fled the scene.

A male suspect is wanted for an arson incident involving a car Monday morning in East Meadow.
Police say the suspect approached an empty 2007 Mercedes parked on Nancy Drive at around 5 a.m., threw an ignited object at it and then fled the scene.
The East Meadow Fire Department put out the flames. The Arson Bomb Squad and fire marshals also responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported, according to authorities.
