Police say they are searching for the suspect who shot a man in the face in Syosset.

Detectives say they received a call about a man who was in need of medical condition around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his face.

The 34-year-old was brought to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The shooting happened near 225 Underhill Blvd. in Syosset.
