Police have arrested the man behind two 7-Eleven gunpoint robberies that occurred an hour and a half apart.
According to police, Daniel Riemenschneider, of Patchogue, is accused of being behind both robberies.
Police say the 35-year-old first robbed the 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in East Patchogue.
Riemenschneider is accused of holding the clerk at gunpoint around 1:30 a.m. Monday and demanding cash. Police say he then did the same thing at the Bayport 7-Eleven on Montauk Highway.
Riemenschneider was arrested last night and will be arraigned later this morning in Central Islip.
