Police say nearly half a dozen bullets hit a home in Riverhead while four people were inside last night.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. at a home on Hamilton Avenue.
According to police, about 10 shots were fired into the living area of the home.
Police say there were three adults and a 4-year-old child inside at the time of the incident.
