Middletown police seized a large amount of illegal marijuana while executing a search warrant.

Detectives say an employee at Splash Infused on Wickham Avenue wouldn't let officers in for a fire inspection. The store sells tobacco-related products.

Police obtained a search warrant and that's when they say they found almost 100 pounds of marijuana and 3,000 edible products.

Kenneth Ortiz, an employee, has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
