STORM WATCH: Rainy weather this morning, use caution for morning rush.
Cloudy skies and periods of rain are making for a soggy start to the day, especially during the morning commute. Watch out for localized street flooding and plenty of wet roads as you head out the door. Temperatures are starting off in the upper 40s, but don’t get too comfortable — colder air moves in this afternoon, with readings slipping to around 40 degrees. A few spotty showers may linger into the afternoon as well.
Tonight, skies turn partly cloudy and it will be noticeably colder. As temperatures fall into the upper 20s and lower 30s, be mindful of a few icy spots developing overnight, especially on untreated surfaces.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, sunshine makes a return with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature near 40 degrees. The warming trend continues beyond that, with temperatures climbing back into the 50s by Wednesday and Thursday, giving us a nice taste of milder spring weather.
