They say he was last seen a week ago leaving a drug and alcohol residential program in Brentwood.
The teen's mom says that she believes her son got on a train and got off in Westbury.
The 14-year-old was last seen wearing red sweatpants and a black shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
