Police search for man who tried to break into North Massapequa garage

Nassau police are looking for an individual who trespassed in the yard of a home earlier this month.
The incident happened at a home on West Drive in North Massapequa around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2.
The unknown male entered the yard of the residence and was seen on surveillance video trying to pick open the garage door lock, police say.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts, the man fled the scene.
