A child day care in Bay Shore was uncovered to be housing a narcotic dealing operation, police say.
Detectives say tips from the community led to a narcotics investigation into Channel Daycare on Delaware Avenue.
After executing a search warrant at the home, police say they found cocaine and fentanyl inside and two loaded handguns along with $173,000 in cash.
Four people were arrested, including the daycare owner Magodeiry Landron and one of her sons.
Detectives also searched the home of Landron’s other son in Brentwood where $66,000 and a gun with extended magazines and ammunition were found.
Police say a child was in the home and released to family custody.
The four suspects face drug, weapons and child endangerment charges.
