A Manorville man is charged with his wife?s murder after their 17-year-old daughter discovered the body in the bedroom Thursday morning.
Police say 42-year-old Thomas Delenzik got into an argument with his wife, Myong-Ok, about him not taking his medication the night before. Det. Lt. Jack Fitzpatrick, of the Suffolk Police Department, says police think he struck her several times with a machete to the head.
Police say it took them eight hours to get a search warrant for the Wading River Manor Road home because Delenzik was the full proprietor of the property. He would not allow officers into the home.
Delenzik will be arraigned Friday in Central Islip.
