Police say an argument in Inwood led to a confrontation with officers, resulting in three arrests.
Detectives say 19-year-old Destiny Rodriquez, of Inwood, was arguing with three women at a home on Loretta Street.
They say Rodriquez and an unknown male pepper-sprayed the women through an open window. That male fled the scene on foot.
As Rodriquez was sitting in the back of a police car, 30-year-old Fahiym Rodriquez, of Lakeview, stated to officers that he was going to "knock them out."
An officer then began to arrest Fahiym Rodriquez.
Authorities say 36-year-old Shawanda Eskarge, of Garden City Park, jumped on the officer's back to prevent that arrest.
Destiny Rodriquez was charged with three counts of assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Fahiym Rodriquez was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest.
