A Roosevelt man has been arrested for assaulting an officer, according to police.

Police say that Shabaz Hall, 30, violated an order of protection by entering the victim's residence on Wednesday evening. They say that when they attempted to arrest Hall, he became violent and attempted to resist arrest.

One officer suffered an injury as a result, and Hall was arraigned on Thursday.
