6ds agoA police presence is expected at Riverhead High School this morning after a boy was assaulted off campus.
Officers were called to Riverhead High School after receiving a call about an underage boy with a deep cut on his arm in the nurse’s office.
The boy was treated for his injury and after investigating, officers learned the incident happened an hour and a half after school let out.
Police also say it appears the incident did not happen on school grounds.
News 12 has been told the victim would not cooperate with the investigation, and requested officers to not take further action.
