(12/11/07) NEW CASSEL - Police are investigating a fatal stabbing Tuesday in New Cassel.
Investigators say they received a call about a domestic dispute at a home on Garden Street. Neighbors say they heard a woman was stabbed to death by her husband.
Police haven?t released much information about the incident, only saying it there was a domestic dispute and a homicide.
Stanley Brevett, whose mother owns the home where the couple rented a room, says the two people were married and seemed very normal.
Part of Garden Street was shut down by police due to their investigation. It has since reopened.
