A pedestrian was killed in a crash in West Babylon early Tuesday, officials say.

Police say the male victim was walking his bicycle westbound on Railroad Avenue west of Cedarwood Road when he was hit by a westbound car driven by 32-year-old Michael Leo.

The victim, who has not been identified by police, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
