Police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Commack.
According to police, a woman was crossing Commack Road between Delaware Avenue and Daly Road around 9 p.m. Monday when she was hit by a Cadillac.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Cadillac was not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
