Police say they caught woman who struck, killed man in Central Islip
Police say they have caught the woman who struck and killed a man Sunday morning in Central Islip, and left him to die.
Vielka Batista-Coronado is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, resulting in death.
Police say the Central Islip woman hit Jose Martinez on Suffolk Avenue near Applegate Drive, and never stopped.
