Police: Off-duty NYPD officer found stabbed to death in the Bronx

An off-duty police officer was found early Monday morning stabbed inside of a Bronx apartment on Grand Concourse.

An off-duty police officer was found early Monday morning stabbed inside of a Bronx apartment on Grand Concourse.
Police have confirmed that the victim is 31-year-old Arianna Reyes-Gomez from the Bronx.
Police say they responded to a stabbing call at around 2:50 a.m. at 780 Grand Course. Upon arrival, police discovered the 31-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to her body. The victim was an off-duty NYPD officer and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 31-year-old victim was allegedly stabbed by her husband, according to police. 
One man is in custody in connection to this stabbing.
Sources say the victim was a transit cop working out of the 32nd district in Brooklyn where she’d been on the force for less than five years.
The investigation is ongoing.
