yesterdayA staff member at Nassau University Medical Center has been arrested on accusations of forcibly touching a patient.
Police say Taylor Melecio, 25 of Wantagh, inappropriately touched a 29-year-old female patient Sunday while she was being transported back to her hospital room.
Melecio was arraigned Monday on charges of forcible touching.
Police say they are seeking any possible additional victims. They're asking anyone who feels they might be a victim to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
