A North Amityville man was arrested for allegedly driving with more than 70 license suspensions.

Police say just after noon on Wednesday, an officer pulled over Terrance Smith, 37, on Schleigel Boulevard and Great Neck Road in Amityville.

They say he was initially pulled over for having cracked and illegally tinted windows.

Police say his license had been suspended 71 times on 13 dates.

Smith was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
