A man was arrested on Saturday night for attempting to stab a woman multiple times at a home in New Cassel.
Police say they responded to the home after an argument broke out between 68-year-old Samuel Charles and the 67-year-old victim.
Charles displayed a knife and unsuccessfully tried to stab the victim several times, according to authorities. He also broke multiple items in the household.
Authorities say no injuries were reported. Charles is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday.
