Police have charged an Islip Terrace man accused of stripping naked and chasing a 17-year-old girl on a path in Southards Pond Park with stalking.
"It's disgusting," says Babylon resident Brian Flynn. "I couldn't even know what to say more about that, except that it would taint a little girl's mind forever."
Police say the teen girl was jogging on the path on Monday when Juan Fuentes, 27, ran past her from the opposite direction. They say he turned around and continued to jog behind her.
Police say that the girl looked back and saw Fuentes running naked after her. She sprinted away and called authorities.
Police arrested Fuentes at his workplace -- Belmont Twins Deli in West Babylon.
A friend of Fuentes says he is married and has two girls, ages 3 and 5.
"He doesn't have any mental issues with running around the public nude," says Cesar DeLeon, the friend. "I was shocked yesterday."
