Police say a man died after a motorcycle crash in Merrick on Sunday evening.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and South Hewlett Avenue.
Nassau County police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not clear if any other vehicles were involved.
No arrests have been made.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
