Suffolk police say a mini school bus driver and a student were injured in a crash in Eastport.

Police say the bus was found on its side on County Road 51, west of the overpass for County Road 111, at 7:05 a.m.

The bus driver, a 79-year-old male, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

A 14-year-old student on the bus was transported a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. There was no one else on the bus.
