Police say a man wearing a Halloween mask held up a 7-Eleven in West Hempstead at gunpoint.
The incident happened at the store on Hempstead Turnpike just before 8 p.m. Sunday. The suspect could be seen in surveillance video wearing a white Halloween mask and carrying a handgun.
Police say the masked suspect zip-tied one of the employees and demanded another to open the cash register. They say the thief took off with cash and a carton of cigarettes.
No one was injured in the robbery.
