A Medford man is accused of shooting his neighbor's dog in the face with a BB gun.

Dorian Mancuso was having a barbecue Sunday night when he heard his dog Bullseye yelp and saw blood coming from his nose. Mancuso said he then saw his next door neighbor, Martin Frey, holding a BB gun and looking at the dog.

Neighbors tell News 12 that Bullseye does get out once in a while, but that he is a very sweet animal.

Frey is charged with one count of animal cruelty and weapons possession for allegedly having a gravity knife on his person.

Mancuso took Bullseye to the veterinarian today to have the BB pellet removed. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Frey is currently being held on $20,000 bond.
