A North Bellmore man is under arrest after allegedly pointing a gun at a mom and her 6-year-old child.
Police say 21-year-old Michael Ripert pointed that gun during an argument with the woman Tuesday.
It happened at the 7-Eleven parking lot on Newbridge Road.
As the woman called 911, Ripert allegedly fired two shots into the air. Ripert was arrested at his home on Pea Pond Road.
Police also removed several other weapons including an AK-47 rifle, a Glock handgun speed loader, and a loaded pistol grip shotgun.
Police say Ripert also fired a gun multiple times on Montgomery Street in Wantagh last month at 1 a.m.
