A man was killed in a two-car crash on Sunrise Highway Monday near Moriches, police say.

They say two cars collided between Williams Floyd Parkway and Wading River Road.

Police say the man was alone in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.

The crash caused all westbound lanes in the area to shut down at around 12:30 p.m.

Suffolk County police say Sunrise Highway has since reopened.
