Police say a man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Mineola Saturday night.
It happened after 6 p.m. at Jericho Turnpike and Mineola Boulevard.
Police say the victim was trying to cross the road when he was struck.
The driver stayed at the scene. No charges have been filed.
