Police: Man charged with breaking doorbell camera in Central Islip

A man accused of breaking a doorbell camera at a Central Islip residence on March 22 has been charged with criminal mischief, according to police.

Authorities say a man in a hood was recorded holding a sharp object and stabbing the camera on Adams Road.

Police identify the man seen on the video as 53-year-old Patrick Richiusa.

Investigators say they are looking into whether he is involved with any similar incidents.
