Police tell News 12 Ervin Morrison and another man rushed into the house on Duryea Avenue and grabbed a lockbox with money and a knife inside.
Police say a woman was also involved in the scheme.
Neither the second man or woman were arrested.
Morrison is charged with robbery and burglary.
