A New Jersey man accused of filming a tenant inside the bathroom of his Water Mill rental property has been charged with unlawful surveillance.

Police responded to the scene over the weekend after the female tenant discovered the camera.

Officers conducted and investigation and arrested 36-year-old James Bassetcann.

Authorities say he will face a judge in Southampton at a later date.
