(AP) - Police have arrested a man they say accidentally shot a woman with an arrow on a Bronx street.
Eric Collins was arrested Thursday on charges of recklessendangerment and criminal possession of a weapon in the bizarreepisode Sunday in the tranquil Riverdale neighborhood.
No one immediately returned messages left at possible phonenumbers for Collins in Riverdale and suburban Yonkers. Policedidn't know his lawyer's name.
The New York Police Department's chief spokesman, Paul Browne,says the 27-year-old Collins was moving into his grandparents'former Riverdale home and fired off an arrow into a fence.
Browne says the arrow went through the fence and hit DeniseDelgado-Brown in the stomach. She was hospitalized but has sincebeen released.
