Police believe they have the driver in custody who struck and killed a Central Islip Federal Court judge in Florida.
Boca Raton police say on Friday Nastasia Snape allegedly drove around traffic onto a sidewalk, hitting two pedestrians including Judge Sandra Feuerstein.
A 6-year-old boy was seriously hurt and Judge Feuerstein was killed.
She was nominated to the federal bench by President George W. Bush in 2003 and had been deciding cases in the Central Islip courthouse for nearly 20 years.
