2ds agoA federal district judge was killed Friday in a hit-and-run in Boca Raton, officials say.
Federal District Judge Sandra Feuerstein was nominated to the federal bench by former President George W. Bush in 2003.
She has been deciding cases in the Central Islip courthouse for nearly 20 years.
Before that, she served as a judge on the Nassau County District Court.
