Police: Human skull found in Ronkonkoma
Police say a human skull was found Saturday afternoon in Ronkonkoma. In prepared remarks, police say it was discovered by a man riding on a mountain bike in the woods just north of Express Drive North.

Police say a human skull was found Saturday afternoon in Ronkonkoma.
In prepared remarks, police say it was discovered by a man riding on a mountain bike in the woods just north of Express Drive North. He called police around 12:15 p.m.
Police say the remains may have been there for an extended period of time.
The Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Police are urging anyone with information about the human remains to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
