A father, son duo is facing charges Thursday for spray-painting several stores along 5th Avenue in Bay Shore, police say.

Detectives say Thomas Shane and Thomas Shane Jr., of Shirley, spray-painted graffiti on eight different storefronts. Three detectives from the Third Squad say they witnessed the duo in action.

Police say the 48-year-old father also unloaded spray paint at a Mobil gas station.

The father is facing six counts of making graffiti. His 26-year-old son is charged with four counts of making graffiti.

Both were released on bail and are set to be arraigned at a later date.
