Suffolk police are looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that sent a car into the front of an animal hospital in Selden.

Officers say the incident happened just before 2 a.m. on the corner of Middle Country Road and Magnolia Place.

They say a car hit the passenger side of an SUV and drove off after the crash.

Police don't have a description of the vehicle, but they say it's expected to have damage.

One person was sent to a hospital for minor injuries.
