Charlie is East Hampton High School's salutatorian, with a 98.4 unweighed GPA.
He'll attend the University of Pennsylvania and will play on the "sprint" football team.
Charlie was East Hampton's football captain and an All-Division linebacker and tight end.
He won the team MVP Award, and his coach credits Charlie with reinvigorating the program and leading it into the playoffs this season. He was also the track captain and serves on the Suffolk County Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Charlie also did a research project through Stony Brook University looking into the effects of microplastics on our local waterways.
He also led a three-year project to get rid of all single-use plastic in the high school cafeteria, a move that ended the use of 25,000 plastic utensils per year.
Charlie was co-founder of the math and finance club and created a summer tutoring program that helped more than 200 students.
