A Central Islip man is facing multiple charges of criminal possession of loaded weapons.
Police arrested Samuel Schindler, of Tamarack Street, after a search warrant was executed at his home.
Detectives seized two loaded ghost guns, a kit to make ghost guns and a homemade apparatus used to test fire weapons.
Schindler is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a firearm and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
