Police say a Bronx man has confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend and burying her remains in Teaneck, N.J.Officials say 28-year-old Jaritza Calderone went to 32-year-old Julio Flores' home Saturday on Gun Hill Road to pick up her cable TV box. According to officials, they got into an argument and Flores claims he then killed her. Police say Flores, a day laborer, buried her remains at a construction site he was working at in Teaneck. According to police, a nearby homeowner notified authorities about Flores after seeing a man acting suspiciously at the home.The Daily News has reported that Flores called Calderone's family and told them that they would never see her again.
Flores is being held on $1 million bail at the Bergen County Jail and was charged with burglary, hindering apprehension and desecrating a body. He is expected to return to New York to face other charges, including murder.
