yesterdayA Bronx man who police said started a fire in a Valley Stream bank early Saturday morning is facing arson charges.
Officers observed Garland Douglas adding fuel to the fire at a Chase Bank on Rosedale Avenue around 5 a.m.
The flames set fire to the inside area between the front doors and the bank.
Police said Douglas also had cocaine and heroin on him.
