An overturned box truck shut down three lanes of traffic for four hours Saturday on the Long Island Expressway.
Police say the driver was traveling eastbound and lost control at around 5:30 a.m. when another vehicle cut them off near Exit 49.
The driver was hospitalized for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
