Police arrested 19-year-old Tylil McTootle of West Hempstead and charged him with reckless endangerment. They say he shot Deandra Moss in the foot.
Cops say McTootle was gunning for another man and the young girl was caught in the crossfire outside the Evans Avenue bodega, along with a group of innocent children. According to prosecutors, he commited almost the exact same crime last year and was already on probation.
McTootle pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. He's being held on $150,000 bail.
