Police arrested a man early this morning for allegedly robbing a 7-Eleven in Central Islip.
News 12 is told that just before 12:30 a.m., Malcolm Crews entered the 7-Eleven on East Suffolk Ave., demanded cash and told the clerk he had a gun.
Police say that the clerk argued with Crews before Crews reached over the counter, grabbed the cash and ran off.
The 25-year-old from Islandia was located and arrested about a half an hour later.
