Police say an 88-year-old woman has died following a crash in Syosset.

According to police, the crash happened at the intersection of Split Rock Road and Monfort Place on Thursday night.

Police tell News 12 the 88-year-old was driving a Mercury when the car crashed into a Jaguar SUV driven by a 54-year-old.

The 88-year-old died at the hospital.

The passenger in her car, and the driver and passenger inside the Jaguar are all expected to be OK.
