Police: 61-year-old beaten and robbed by 3 suspects in New Cassel

Police say it was a little before 9 p.m. when a 61-year-old man was approached by three unknown men while he attempting to make a food delivery at a home on Brook Street.

A victim is recovering after being robbed and beaten in New Cassel on New Year’s Eve.
Police say it was a little before 9 p.m. when a 61-year-old man was approached by three unknown men while he attempting to make a food delivery at a home on Brook Street.
The suspects tried to break into the victim's car, but were unsuccessful.
The victim was then thrown to the ground and kicked.
Officers tell News 12 the three suspects stole an unknown amount of money and the car keys from the victim’s pockets, then took off in an unknown vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
