Two suspects are wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred Saturday night in Elmont.

Police say a 62-year-old man was walking near the CVS on Dutch Broadway a little past 11:30 p.m. when he was approached by two men who took out a black handgun and demanded the victim’s bag.

Detectives say while he was giving them the bag, one suspect hit him on the head with the gun before they both fled on Tuxedo Drive.

The victim was hospitalized for his injuries, but authorities say he is expected to be OK.
